The Origin Story
The dedicated team behind PREP-it for OET have years of English teaching and exam preparation experience in the classroom and online. Over time, they understood that every candidate they saw had one very clear, overriding objective: to pass the exam!
It was clear that people taking these high-stakes tests were extremely motivated and determined to succeed. However, they were also time-poor and stressed. Attending a traditional, in-person course was out of the question, and making time in one's day to sit down at a computer could be tricky to commit to.
So... how about an app?
There were test preparation apps on the market for the more popular tests, but more specialised exams like the OET were not well catered for. The PREP-it team decided to create a world-first test prep app that would be a complete learning ecosystem which is:

Brad has devoted his career to language acquisition and the healthcare sector. He has extensive experience in item writing, content and curriculum development, across a variety of English language exams. For the past six years, Brad has worked directly for OET as an education consultant, item writer and editor, contributing to various publications and official test preparation material.
Over the last 25 years, Colin has occupied a variety of roles in the English as a Foreign Language space in the UK, South America and Australia. While in Brazil, he established his own teaching, training and translation business. In 2014, Colin returned to Melbourne, where he worked for one of Australia’s leading online test preparation startups.
